How to use Ninja Trader on a Mac?

From Ninja Trader Support:

While we do not officially support running NinjaTrader on a Mac; we have had many clients run NinjaTrader on Mac hardware.

We have specific installation instructions for Parallels and VMWare Fusion which will allow you to run NinjaTrader on your Mac. Below you will find instructions specific to the available options of running NinjaTrader on a Mac computer with the virtualization tools. Please note that Windows is sold separately from Parallels and VMWare.

Mac Installation - Configuring NinjaTrader for Parallels (click HERE to access):

When installing NinjaTrader on a Mac using Parallels users will need to ensure that the following steps have been taken prior to the installation of NinjaTrader.

Start Parallels and select your virtual machine
Press the "Configure" button on the top
Under "Options", select "Sharing"
Uncheck "Share Mac" under "Share Mac User Folders with Windows"
Press "OK" and start the virtual machine

When configuring NinjaTrader on a Mac running VMWare, users will need to ensure that the following steps have been taken prior to the installation of NinjaTrader.

Start VMWare and select your virtual machine
Press the "Settings" button on the bottom
Under "System Settings", select "Sharing"
Uncheck "Documents" from the "Mirrored Folders" list
Close the "Settings" window and start the virtual machine

What system should I use to trade?

For Cryptocurrency, ByBit is currently the app a lot of Australians are using to trade. It offers a host of coins and leveraged trading.

For the US Markets, Cam uses Ninja Trader.

Some countries have restrictions around using Ninja Trader. If you are in one of these countries, take a look at IG markets as an alternative.

How do I add Simple Moving Averages to my charts?

Moving Averages can be found in the "Indicators" section of your favourite charting program.

How can I change/cancel my subscription billing?

1. Click on the avatar in the top right and select Subscription and Settings.

2. Click on Billing Info. From here you will be able to update your billing settings.

International students are 100% welcome. We have students from all over the world in our community. All of the video modules are available to watch when it's convenient for you. The Facebook group is open 24/7, and I answer questions around 16 hours a day.

How Much Do I Need To Start?

I recommend new students start with around $500. The first month is about learning "to drive", before you go "on the roads". I've said this many times... with no education, you can easily turn $5000 in to $500. With a good education, you can easily turn $500 in to $5000.

All of the video modules play back within our website. All the webinars are on Zoom, and the community sits on Facebook and Discord. All are free.
